UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi is in Bethlehem to participate in the Palestine Investment Conference 2010

Bethlehem - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed yesterday his profound gratitude to the UAE for the honourable, supporting stance it is adopting, under the leadership of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, towards the Palestinian Cause.

He said during a meeting with visiting UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi that the UAE is extending financial and material assistance to the Palestinian people. Sheikha Lubna is in Bethlehem to participate in the Palestine Investment Conference 2010 which will start tomorrow. The meeting reviewed the good ties between the UAE and Palestine and agenda of the two-day conference.

Palestinian Minister of National Economy Hassan Abu Lebda and a number of senior Palestinian officials as well as members of the delegation accompanying Sheikha Lubna attended the audience.
